Ejaz Sher Ali er en Pakistans mest lovende upcomers. Han er ud af en af de største pakistanske musikfamilier, Meher Ali & Sher Ali, hvor han nu betragtes som kronprinsen, der skal overtage familieorkestret fra sine forfædre. Ejaz Sher Ali er kendt for at synge den hellige Qawwali-musik, og på denne fredag aften gør han det med en århusiansk band-konstellation under navnet Aliband 🌴

🌳 DET TURKISE TELT BYDER VELKOMMEN I DEN TURKISE HAVE! 🌳
Under dette års festuge vil det turkise telt gerne invitere dig en tur ned i oasen ved siden af vores dejlige musikalske mødested, turkis. Her åbner sig en lille verden af lyd, lys, duft, smag og den helt særlige stemning, du kender fra det turkise univers.
Det hele foregår mellem den 31. august til den 3. september, hvor vi byder på koncerter og fællessang, film og foredrag, workshops og danseshows, inspiration og fordybelse. Alt sammen fordelt på vores to scener: den udendørs havescene og scenen inde på turkis☀️
Vi garanterer 4 dages fejring af livet og musikken, og vi håber at du har lyst til at tage del i festen! 💙

den turkise have er for alle aldre og inspirationer, så tag trygt dine børn, bedstemødre eller bedste venner under armen. Der vil være fri adgang til aktiviteterne i den turkise have. Vi gør dog opmærksom på, at nogle af workshopsene kræver tilmelding for et mindre beløb.

ALIBAND IN THE TURQUOISE GARDEN
Ejaz Sher Ali is one of the rising stars in Pakistan He is out of one of the biggest Pakistani music families, Meher Ali & Sher Ali, where he is now regarded as the crown prince, taking over the family orchestra. Ali is known for singing the sacred Qawwali music, and this Friday night he does it with an Aarhusian band constellation under the name Aliband 🌴

During this year’s Aarhus Festival, det turkise telt invites you to join us in the oasis right beside our musical meeting point, turkis. Here you will experience a small world of sound, light, smells and that specific feel you know from the turquoise universe☀️
The program stretches from August 31st to September 3rd and contains concerts and singing together, film screenings and lectures, workshops and dance shows, inspiration and spirit – on our two stages: the garden stage and the scene inside turkis💙

the turquoise garden is for all ages and inspirations, so don’t hesitate to bring your children, grandmothers or best friends.
