La milonga del Fotógrafo
We invite you to be part of a delightful late afternoon of tango at this free milonga al fresco on the waterfront, in a relaxed and welcoming setting at Pier 2! The milonga is a continuation of Tango Aarhus’ milonga that takes place right before it.
Immerse yourself in music carefully curated by our DJ. From classic tango melodies to a smattering of tango nuevo and non-tango tracks, the music will set the stage for an afternoon filled with dance.
Dancers of all levels are welcome. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced tanguero, come as you are and be part of our community. Connect with fellow dancers, share the joy of tango, and create memorable moments together. Taxi dancers will be available to dance with new and inexperienced dancers. Whether you’re seeking guidance, or simply want to enjoy a dance, the taxi dancers will be there to help ensure that everyone feels included and can fully enjoy the milonga experience. No special wink, nod or secret handshake is needed – just ask. (we are seeking a few more experienced dancers willing to act as taxi dancers).
Bring your sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat if the weather is warm! The event is weather dependant, so keep an eye on this FB event if the weather looks doubtful.
There is a kiosk offering beverages, but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Tables and benches are available for seating next to the dancefloor.
Conveniently, free parking is available under the Navitas building, a mere 200 meters away.
