This event is an option for young people in Aarhus and the users of UKH to get a taste of the playful and jazzy swing dance Lindy Hop. 🌟
THE EVENT
19:15 – 20:00 Introduction to Lindy Hop
20:00 – 21.45 Social dance
We will start the evening with a 45 minutes INTRODUCTION to Lindy Hop. No experience is needed. Come with friends or alone as we will rotate partners.
After the amazing lesson, you can stay for SOCIAL DANCE from 20:00 to 21:45 where you will be able to practice the awesome moves you learnt. 💃🕺

UKH is a place for young people and it is a place full of creativity and an array of activities.

THE SWING DANCE – LINDY HOP
Lindy Hop is a swing dance that was born in the African-American communities in Harlem, New York City, in 1928 and has evolved greatly since then. it was a fusion of many dances that were prevalent at the time but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway, and Charleston.
The event is FREE and the bar is open and sells beer and soda. 🍺🥤
