Med James Loveless i front udgør Loveless Blue Jazz Quintet fem kompetente musikere fra øverste hylde i det aarhusianske jazz og blues miljø.
Bandet spiller et repertoiret af kendte og mindre kendte jazz standards, spirituals og gospel med et autentisk bud på jazz og et umiskendeligt strejf af blues.
I årenes løb har musikerne arbejdet i bandsammenhænge med Gnags, Lilholt Band, Mike Anderson, Big Gumbo, Shades of Blue, Grarup All Stars.
Netop den musikalske frihed afspejler sig, når de sammen i Loveless Blue Jazz Quintet med dynamisk nerve og kærlig respekt fortolker store klassikere som ‘God Bless the Child’, Georgia On My Mind’ og ‘All of Me’.

With James Loveless at the front, the Loveless Blue Jazz Quintet consists of five competent musicians from the top shelf in the Aarhusian jazz and blues scene.
The band plays a repertoire of well-known and lesser-known jazz standards, spirituals and gospel with an authentic take on jazz and an unmistakable touch of blues.
Over the years, the musicians have worked in band contexts with Gnags, Lilholt Band, Mike Anderson, Big Gumbo, Shades of Blue, Grarup All Stars.
