Swing movie night at Huset Trøjborg (Room 1.4 upstairs) on the 12th of March, Saturday, at 19:00.
📽️ We will screen the documentary film “The Rebirth of Shag” made by the Shag dancer Ryan Martin. The main intention of this film is to give a historical background to the American swing dance called Shag.
Even if you are not a Shag dancer, you will learn a lot about swing dance in general and might be inspired to start your Shag dance journey.
Feel free to join us for a social dance if you can’t make it to the movie. We will primarily play shag-friendly up-tempo swing and pre-swing music, which is also suitable for a lindy hop dance, so don’t hesitate to come.

🌊 Remember to bring your water bottle, dancing shoes, a towel and an extra t-shirt.
Stay at home if you feel sick and do not attend any social dancing.
If you have MobilePay, you can buy beer/soda at the self-service café.

Call the phone number attached to the Aarhus Lindy Hoppers poster and wait until someone from your fellow dancers let you in.
Always help each other and let fellow dancers inside the house.
Huset Trøjborg is locked in the evening due to security reasons, so all the different communities can feel safe using the space after working hours.
