Join us for an exciting workshop with Monica, who is traveling all the way from Copenhagen to share her passion and joy for solo jazz dancing! Get ready to be inspired and learn new moves that will spice up your Lindy Hop!
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
To kick off this solo jazz workshop, we will start by exploring dancing on our own! By following the beat and listening for the rhythm, we will look for that nice connection with the music and with our own bodies.
The second part of the workshop is all about expanding our solo jazz vocabulary by dancing a choreography based on well known and loved jazz moves. If you are new to solo jazz the moves themselves are hopefully exciting to you. If you already know the moves, then fear not! I’ll make sure to have variations ready for you.
And remember: Even though we are dancing solo, we still enjoy the music and the dancing together!

ABOUT MONICA
Monica is a passionate solo jazz dancer, who has been dancing since 2017. The discovery of solo jazz completely amazed her and left very little time for other hobbies. But that is no problem since she believes that dance is a celebration of self-expression and connection. And what more do you need! Monica values the freedom that dancing provides and encourages her students to connect with the music and themselves rather than focusing solely on memorizing moves. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just starting out, join Monica in her class and discover the joy of dancing on your own!
