Tango Aarhus indbyder til sommerfest , hvor vi har inviteret tango DJ Ieva fra Riga til at spille til milongaen hele aftenen. Alle er velkomne💃🏽🕺🏻
Om aftenens DJ :
“Ieva started to Dj in 2008. All these years she have played in the local milongas, for almost 13 years is running her own regular milonga and playing regularly there music, as well as she has been Dj in tango events in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Russia and Belarus.
As a Dj Ieva plays traditional music – mostly tango of 1930-ties and 1940-ties and also some little older or little newer tandas. When Dj-ing she tries to create smooth flow of music – all her tandas and cortinas makes one united story of the milonga. She tries to connect with the dancers on the dance floor, feel their energy and mood to offer them pleasant, danceable, interesting and energetically charging music with a slight sentimental touch.”

Ieva medbringer desuden et lille udvalg af hendes kollektion af unikt tangotøj, som der vil være mulighed for at købe eller bestille.
Ieva skriver om sit tøj :
“Since 2004, when I started to dance tango it occupies an increasingly important place in my life. At the moment, all my life goes around tango – I am a dancer, teacher, organizer of milongas and encuentros, TDj and a designer of tango clothes.
My experience contacting with many and very different ladies allows me to create dresses that are practical, comfortable and emphasize beautiful female forms and decorate their movements.
Just as me, my designed clothes changes continuously – they become more subtle with more nuances, more playful but also remain simple and practical.
In my collection you will find mostly clothes for social tango, as well as more subtle dresses for special events and scene tango.
All clothes are unique; they are available only for a single copy and only in one size. You will not meet any other lady in the milonga with the same dress!”
