Welcome to TangoSpirer Aarhus – Fall Season 2025! 🤩 🥳

TangoSpirer is a community for young people aged 18-35, who want to learn the magical dance of Argentine tango.

The class is open to everyone, and we have a warm and welcoming community! You’ll get to try out both roles – leading and following. This way, you’ll get a deeper understanding of the dance and have twice the fun on the dance floor.

You can come solo or bring a partner and friends – the more, the merrier! We aim to create a relaxed, friendly, and safe space where you can learn tango from scratch. It’s all about growing and dancing together, having a good time, and learning from both our instructors and from each other.

Our instructors are experienced tango dancers from the community, who also teach together with TangoSpirers.

🌱 WHEN
This Fall Season runs until December 18th 2025!

🌱 THE SCHEDULE
19.00-19.30: Basic training + crash course in Argentine Tango for beginners.
Here everyone is welcome, whether you have some or absolutely NO dance experience. You are advised to take this first, if you’ve never tried tango before.

19.30-20.30: Tango class
It’s open for everyone, so join in and do your best with what you have! Some have been there several times already, and some are new. The class will have a certain point of focus every time, so even though you weren’t there last time, you can still do this one 😉

20.30-21.30: Práctica
After the class we hang out, and you can practice your skills, dance with other people, and ask for tips and tricks. There are always snacks and wine and good vibes!

🌱 WHERE
The lessons will be held at Mejlgade 53, 5th floor. It’s in the same building as Café Mellemfolk; just head all the way up to the top floor! Feel free to arrive a bit early to mingle with others before we start and help with setting up. All help appreciated! <3

🌱 HOW
Just show up whenever you can, as often as you can. Bringing friends or snacks earns you bonus points!

🌱 PRICES
First-time guest: Free entrance.
Non-members: 40 kr. per evening (cash or MobilePay #430736).
Membership: 300 kr. (includes free access for half a year + a Tango Aarhus membership).

TangoSpirer is a non-profit initiative. The charge goes mainly towards studio rent, free snacks and wine.
