💃 WINTER SEASON - TangoSpirer Aarhus🕺

Welcome to TangoSpirer Aarhus – Winter Season 2026! 🥳

TangoSpirer is a community for young people aged 18-35, who want to learn the magical dance of Argentine tango.

The class is open for everyone, and we have a warm and welcoming community! You’ll get to try out both roles – leading and following. This way, you’ll get a deeper understanding of the dance and have twice the fun on the dance floor.

You can come solo or bring a partner or some friends – the more, the merrier! We aim to create a relaxed, friendly, and safe space where you can learn tango from scratch. It’s all about growing and dancing together, having a good time, and learning from both our instructors and from each other.

Our instructors are experienced tango dancers from the community, teaching together with young TangoSpirers.

🌱 WHEN
The winter season runs every thursday from Jan 15th until March 26th (easter break).

🌱 SCHEDULE
19.00-19.30: Basic training + crash course in Argentine Tango for beginners.

Here everyone is welcome, whether you have some experience or absolutely NO dance experience. You are advised to take this first, if you’ve never tried tango before.

19.30-20.30: Open Tango class
Open for everyone, so join in and do your best with what you have! Some have been there several times already, and some are brand new. The class will have a certain point of focus every time, so even though you weren’t there last time, you can still do this one 😉

20.30-22.00: Práctica
After the class we hang out and enjoy each others company. Here you can practice your new moves, get advice from the teachers, dance with other people, and share tips and tricks. Everyone brings snacks and good vibes!

🌱 WHERE
The lessons will be held at Klostergadecenteret, Blå sal. The address is Klostergade 37, 8000 Aarhus C.
Just keep walking up the stairs until you hear tango music, and you’re there!

Feel free to arrive a bit early to help with setting up and mingle with others before we start. All help is very appreciated! <3

🌱 HOW
Just show up whenever you can, as often as you can. Bringing friends earns you bonus points! Everyone brings some snacks, so we always have some <3

🌱 PRICES
First-time guest = Free entrance.
Non-members = 40 kr. per evening (cash or MobilePay #430736).
Become a member of Tango Aarhus (recommended) = 225 kr for a whole year (gives you free access to TangoSpirer for the rest of the year + a general Tango Aarhus membership + discounts to Tango Aarhus’ VIP and other events).

We are working on a new membership link for TangoSpirer, so it will be updated ASAP in week 2 or 3!

TangoSpirer is a non-profit initiative under Tango Aarhus, and we are doing this to share the joy of tango with young people <3
