There will be a short introduction for the dance, so everyone can join. No matter the dance experience. Then the floor is open for social dance.

Blues dancing is a collection of dances and movements of African-American origin with varied rhythms, speed, and expression, and can be danced both partnered, solo, and in groups. Blues dance is characterized by improvisation, rhythm, community feeling, emotion, and creativity.

When blues developed people often danced in small juke-joints or private homes where there was limited space, and you had to dance close and tiny.
