-‐——————

Have you ever experienced being completely lost in a dance with your partner? A moment where time seems to stop, and the only thing that matters is the connection between you and the music.

Do you experience this every single time you step onto the dance floor? Probably not… and neither do we. But we do have tools that can help you build and experience this connection more deeply, with more people and with less dependence on your mood.

Connection is often rated by followers as the number one factor that makes a dance truly enjoyable. Yet surprisingly little time is spent understanding or practicing it.

This workshop has been designed to help you develop this skill. It will be quite different from most workshops, but if you are willing to invest in building this ability, we believe it can transform your dancing and who knows, it might even influence other areas of your life.

So try something new. You never know where it might take you 🙂

FAQ
What dance style is the workshop about?
The focus of the event is connection in partner dancing, using sensual bachata as the framework. However, the principles apply to many other dances as well (zouk, kizomba, tango, salsa, etc.), so don’t worry if bachata is not your main style.

Is it possible to sign up for only part of the workshop?
The workshop is designed as a complete experience. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where all participants share the same understanding of boundaries and communication. For this reason, it is unfortunately not possible to sign up for individual parts of the workshop.

Are there separate spots for followers and leaders?
We do not divide registration into follower and leader spots. No one will be forced to dance a specific role if they don’t want to, but we strongly encourage participants to try both roles.
Spoiler alert: exploring both roles can create some very interesting connections—even when you return to dancing your “usual” role.

Bachata Aarhus is proud and honoured to welcome Lena and Nicholas to Aarhus.
Known for their thoughtful and inspiring approach to connection in partner dancing, they bring a unique perspective that goes beyond steps and technique. We are excited to host them and share this special learning experience with our dance community.

The workshop will take place at Diamond Dance, a beautiful dance studio in Aarhus known for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent facilities.

The studio offers a high-quality dance floor, perfect for partner dancing, along with a great sound system and professional lighting that create the ideal environment for an immersive dance experience.

We are very happy to host this special event in a space that allows dancers to feel comfortable, focused, and fully present on the dance floor.
