Nytårsbal med Olga & Fernando

Aarhus Zoukforening celebrates the start of 2026 with a visit January 16-18 from several of our absolute favorite zouk instructors – Olga & Fernando from Bremen and Elli from Cambridge!

The overall theme of the workshops will be dancing in close embrace. Close embrace adds an extra dimension to the dance, and our instructors are all highly experienced in this technique.

It will be possible to sign up on two different levels.

Level A
Dancers with a strong foundation. The dancers should have some experience in dancing in close embrace, and already have tools for adjusting to different partners etc. It will usually take 12 months or more of regular progressive classes to build this foundation.
Price: 800 kr (750 kr for members signing up before Dec 21)

Level B
Dancers with a basic foundation. It will usually take at least a beginners course of a few months duration to get this basic foundation.
Price: 400 kr (350 kr for members signing up before Dec 21)

Both levels give access to all parties / balls / socials. We expect to open up for party-only signups when we get closer to the event.

We will generally have ongoing low music throughout the breaks to make it possible to dance or practice.
