Salsa Social Aarhus invites you to join Anna Sørensen and Sara-Kristine Palm on Saturday the 13th of December from 11.30-16:15 for a deep dive into Cuban salsa and music for social dancers 💃🏻🕺🏻

This bootcamp is for any cuban salsa dancer who would like to take their social dancing a step further and add more fun, flow and musicality to their cuban salsa 🔥🇨🇺

The level of the bootcamp is improvers and above. We expect you to be comfortable with the basic salsa steps as well as figures as dile que no, guapea and enchufla. The bootcamp will be a mix of exercises, partnerwork and solo steps ✨

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬?
You know Anna as our in-house DJ and Sara as our animation queen. Anna has been loving Cuban dance and music for many years. As a true Cuban salsa nerd, she is continuously putting in the work to get a deeper understanding of the music and the roots of the dance. Anna is known for being effortlessly cool on the dancefloor, and her focus is on cuban salsa as a social dance connecting flow, music and fun 🔥

Sara teaches Cuban salsa at Brandbjerg Højskole as well as regular dance classes at Yo Studios in Aarhus. Sara has been dancing most of her life and she is a tornado on the dancefloor where you’ll recognize her for her outstanding technique and her energetic and cheeky moves 💥

Of course not! 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚, no matter if you dance only follow/lead or you dance both roles. The most important thing is that you’re keen on learning and interested in taking your dancing and musicality a step further 💃🏻🕺🏻

We’ll provide some fruit and snacks for the bootcamp. You’ll have the opportunity to buy water and soda at our bar 🥨☕️🥤

Folkehuset Trøjborg offers 3 hours of free parking. Just remember to register for a parking permit when you arrive. It’s your own responsibility to make sure you renew the permit before the 3 hours are up.
