Come to Studenterhuset on this Wednesday evening and get to know your classmates on the dance floor! West Coast Swing Aarhus is having a free introductory class in West Coast Swing – a smooth partner dance that grooves to a variety of music, including pop favorites. Schedule: Wednesday, September 16th 18:30-19:30 – Intro class in West Coast Swing 19:30-21:30 – Social dance What is West Coast Swing? West Coast Swing is an elegant partner dance with roots in Lindy Hop. Musicality and improvisation are encouraged in this dance, which is known for its elastic, smooth movements and focus on partnership. WCS is one of the most popular and fastest growing partner dances in many parts of the world, you might’ve seen viral videos of the dance on SoMe. Try it for yourself at our free introductory class in Studenterhuset. We will teach a one-hour basic class and then open the dance floor for everybody. Come as you are, with or without a partner. We change partners during the lesson, so everyone is welcome!
