Musical Theatre Workshop

🎭 MUSICAL THEATRE
Curious about musical theatre?

You don’t need to be a singer.
You don’t need to know how to dance.
You don’t even need to know how to act.

You just need to be curious and willing to play.

In this course, you’ll explore acting, singing and movement in a safe, supportive and fun environment — and discover your own way of bringing a musical theatre character to life.

🎶 WHAT WILL WE DO?
01 — FIND YOUR VOICE & BODY

We begin by exploring how to prepare the voice and body for performance.

You’ll learn how to express your character’s:

EMOTIONS · ACTIONS · INTENTIONS

through text, music and movement.

02 — STEP INTO THE MUSICAL

Then we bring everything together.

We’ll work on scenes from different musicals where acting, singing and dancing meet.

You might work on:

🎤 A solo
🎭 A scene for two
👯 A group number

And you get to choose the scenes and songs you want to explore from your favourite musicals.

From classics such as Annie, West Side Story and Grease
to contemporary blockbusters such as Hamilton and Wicked.

✨ AND THEN…

We bring our favourite moments together for a small sharing/performance for an invited audience.

No big production pressure.

Just a chance to share what we’ve discovered and celebrate the work.

🌟 WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone aged 16+ who loves musical theatre.

You might be a:

high school student · university student · working professional · retiree

It doesn’t matter whether you have previous experience.

If you have a passion for the stage and a desire to learn, you’re welcome.
