Strategimøde og social dans / Strategy meeting and social dance

Den 14. juni vil bestyrelsen indkalde foreningens medlemmer til en frivillig strategiworkshop. Formålet er at lægge grundstenene for foreningens fremtid og besvare tre simple spørgsmål:

Hvem er WCS Aarhus?
Hvor vil WCS Aarhus hen?
Hvordan kommer WCS Aarhus derhen?

Resultatet af workshoppen bliver et dokument med en fælles forståelse af foreningen og en mission statement. Workshoppen bliver faciliteret af bestyrelsen, og vi vil sammen – både i plenum og i mindre grupper – arbejde med de ovenstående temaer.

Workshoppen foregår i Folkehuset Trøjborg, Kirkegårdsvej 53, 8000 Aarhus. Undervejs vil vi servere kaffe og lidt sødt. Mødet afholdes på dansk eller engelsk efter behov.

13:00: Velkomst og rammesætning af workshoppen
13:10: Arbejde med tema 1) Hvem er WCS Aarhus?
13:50: Pause
14:00: Arbejde med tema 2) Hvor vil WCS Aarhus hen?
14:40: Pause
14:50: Arbejde med tema 3) Hvordan kommer WCS Aarhus derhen?
15:30: Opsamling og forpligtelse på det videre arbejde
15:45: Social dans til kl 17:00

Efter workshoppen vil bestyrelsen tage alle noter og input med hjem og bearbejde dem til en tekst om vores fælles forståelse af foreningen. Dette dokument vil blive offentliggjort for medlemmerne på vores hjemmeside.

Afhængig af hvor mange vi bliver, vil vi forsøge at gruppere deltagere med forskellige niveauer og roller i foreningen. Alle stemmer skal høres og forstås, da vi håber, at vores fælles forståelse vil være med til at sætte retningen for bestyrelsens arbejde fremover – både i forhold til, hvor vi skal hen, og hvad vi bør undgå.

On the 14th June the board will summon members of the association to a voluntary strategy workshop. The intention is to lay the groundworks of the association going forward, and answer three simple questions. 1) Who is WCS Aarhus? 2) Where does WCS Aarhus wish to go? 3) How does WCS Aarhus get there?

The result of this workshop will be a document with an understanding of the association and mission statement. The workshop will be facilitated by the board, and we will together in a large group as well as smaller groups workshop the above themes.

The workshop will take place at Folkehuset Trøjborg, Kirkegårdsvej 53, 8000 Aarhus. We will serve coffee and some sweets during the day. The workshop will be in Danish or English as needed.

After the workshop the board will take all the notes and thoughts home and process it into a text on common understanding of the association. This document will be published for members to read on our website.

Depending on the size of the workshop, we will attempt to group people of different levels and roles in the association. Every voice should be heard and understood, as we hope that our common understanding will guide the board’s direction going forward, hereunder both where we are headed and what we should avoid.
