Zouk beginners’ course with Annika and Frederik.

Course Content:
Maybe you are completely new to zouk – or maybe you’ve been dancing zouk for a while but would like to refine your technique. Maybe you are experienced in other styles like salsa, bachata or kizomba, and would like to get more into zouk. Or perhaps you have experience in one role (lead/follow) and would like to learn the other. It is intended as an introduction to all the essential aspects you’ll need to learn as a new zouk dancer. We will thoroughly cover zouk from the ground up, to give you solid fundamental technique. We will try to individualize the instruction so that everyone can learn in their own pace. After 8 weeks, you will be well-prepared for an evening on the zouk dance floor.

Immediately after the class, there will be our traditional zouk lounge each time, with the opportunity for free dance or continued practice on your own (free of charge).

Location:
“Folkestedet” – Carl Blochs Gade 28, 8000 Aarhus C.

When?
Eight consecutive Tuesdays – first lesson on 30/1, last lesson on 19/3. The time will be 7pm to 8pm the first two lessons, and 6:45 to 8pm the remaining six lessons.

Language:
Danish or English (depending on the participants).

Price:
400 DKK (+ membership of Aarhus Zouk Association which costs 100 DKK/year).
